Meet the Doctor Who Has Dedicated His Life to Your Blood Vessels

Dr. Achintya Sharma has dedicated over a decade to the prevention and treatment of life-altering vascular conditions. His clinical journey began at Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, where he earned his MBBS. He then completed his Junior Residency at Hindu Rao Hospital, New Delhi — one of the capital's oldest government medical institutions — gaining broad exposure to complex surgical cases.

Driven by a passion for precision surgery, Dr. Sharma pursued his MS in General Surgery at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bangalore, followed by Senior Residency training at Safdarjung Hospital under the Government of India. He later undertook dedicated superspecialty training in vascular and endovascular surgery at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai — widely regarded as one of South Asia's leading vascular surgery programs.

At the conclusion of his MCh training, Dr. Sharma was honoured with the Gold Medal for Best Outgoing Student in MCh Vascular Surgery — a recognition of both academic excellence and clinical skill. He further expanded his expertise through a Fellowship in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Paracelsus Medical University (PMU) Salzburg, Austria, gaining exposure to European standards of endovascular care.
